9/25/04. The Raven, Missoula, MT
Damn fine food here!!! I felt like I was back in Spain, small portions of
very fine food, as in quality over quantity. Played to a dinner crowd
tonight, fun to do every so often...gotta keep it pretty mellow, can't
rock out too much.
9/24/04. Wild Plum Arts Station, Dixon, MT
A quiet evening down here in Dixon, but nice. It doesn't faze me anymore
if there aren't a lot of poeple at a show like it did in the beginning. As
long as a few people are into it, I can interact with their energy and it
works. Of course, it's not the same rush as when there is a large crowd,
but it's all good.

8/28 /04. County Fair, Eureka, MT
The moveable stage here is always bouncy, so when I get into the music I
start to feel like I'm surfing. I kinda enjoyed the feeling today.
Afterwards we went to The Bull Thing, a real live rodeo. I'd never been to
one before, and it was kind of fun. It took like an hour for anyone to
ride the bull past the buzzer.

Back at the European feeling place in the mountains of Montana, yeah. I
think I'm gonna play here quite a bit, so unless something pretty eventful

They say there is a ghost that haunts room #37, I believe in the hotel. We
were in the room next to it. I can't say that we saw anything, but there
was some kind of ghost in the machine going on with my electronics for the
first hour of playing, and then it just went away. Maybe the ghost didn't
like the first set???
8/23,24,25/04. Arts in the Park, Kalispell, MT
Linda and I do sound for this so were are there all day for three days.
It's nice to get out from behind the sound board and up onto the stage for
a simple set of just me and a guitar - I don't bring all the bells and
whistles anymore unless I'm playing for a few hours.
8/10/04. Wedding! The Enchanted Forest, The Enchanted Forest: Near Fortine, MT
What can I say about my wedding day without going too deeply into it...It
was a great day, everything worked out perfectly, although Linda and I
were pretty stressed up until the last minute. The band was great - Wawali
Bonane sang in Congolese and French and it felt like we were in Africa at
times, there in the woods with music drifting through the forest and the
subdued light of Christmas lights strung all over. It was a great time and
it didn't rain on us, although there was a big lightning/rain storm a few
miles away. We bussed our east coast family and friends up from Whitefish
on a large bus, and the driver succeeded in getting the bus stuck on a
dirt road... They couldn't pull it out, so they got another one up there
to bring people home and, guess what? He got that stuck too. People had a
sense of humour about it, though, and eventually made it back. That's the
short version.
6/15/04. Whitefish Farmers Market, Whitefish, MT
This was a fun time, outside in dowtown cosmopolitan Whitefish... well,
it's getting more an more that way as time moves on. Nice weather and a
good vibe as people check out other people's homemade food and wares -
something timeless about that. I wish there was more of that in this
country, instead of people buying from huge megastores and chains etc...
